La Bien Aimée Helix is a 2-ply/lace weight yarn made from 75% Falkland merino and 25% Gotland wool. Helix is Alix and Felix's cousin yarn. It can be knit either double or with other 2-ply yarns. The addition of Gotland wool brings a lustre and slight halo, reminding us of mohair. Gotland's light grey fibre adds a depth of colour which allows deep jewel tone colours to shine. Each hank of Helix contains 100 g of yarn and has a length of approximately 650 m.
