Qing Fibre Yak Single is 4 ply/fingering weight yarn and one of the most luxurious fingering weight yarns on the market. The natural grey of the yak hair darkens the colour ways intensely, while the added silk gives it a beautiful lustrous sheen. Together they form a textile that is a delight both visually and physically. These 120 gram and 480 meter skeins are enough for a medium shawl. Suitable for any pattern and stitch, especially for those more intricate and fun stitches.

Things to Note:

  • Keep in mind that due to the nature of hand-dyeing, colourways can vary (sometimes dramatically) from skein to skein. These colour differences contribute to each skein's individuality and uniqueness, making your project truly one-of-a-kind.
  • Since skeins and lots can vary so much, we recommend shopping in person if possible. If you can't make it to the store and have specific colour preferences in mind, we encourage you to email us before ordering so that we can provide you with complimentary photo support as best we can.
  • Each hank of Yak Single contains 120 g of yarn and has a length of approximately 480 meters.
  • The knit tension is 32 per 10 cm.
  • The recommended needle size is 2.5-4.5 mm.
