Isager Tweed
Isager Tweed is a 5-ply/sport weight yarn which consists of 70% wool and 30% mohair.
This yarn has a slightly irregular, homespun look, yet the mohair fibres give the yarn a remarkable softness and a lovely sheen. Isager Tweed works equally well for both indoor and outdoor garments and with the small flecks in different colours the yarn has a very lively surface. When working a knitting technique with this yarn, e.g. a Structure pattern or a Jacquard pattern in a two or more coloured pattern, it can be knitted in the round.
Things to Note:
- Each hank of Tweed contains 50 g of yarn and has a length of approximately 200 m.
- The recommended needle size is 3.0 mm.
- The knit tension is 26 stitches per 10 cm.
